Goodbye Pork Pie (1981) - with music by Collapsing Cities

Goodbye Pork Pie (1981)

Date: Wed 3 March
Time: 7pm
Venue: Grey Lynn Park
69 to 71 Williamson Avenue, Grey Lynn, Auckland
Cost: Free
Classification: (PG - coarse material) running time 105 min

A Kiwi classic that sees two local misfits travel the length of the country in their iconic yellow mini, nicknamed 'Pork Pie'. Their high speed exploits earn them the name "the Blondini gang" and the Police asoon make it their mission to stop the Blondini boys from reaching their destination. Make sure you're there early to catch Collapasing Cities, touted as one of UK publication NME's 'top ten hopes of the near future', and their self-defined sound of ramshackle indie pop.
